The Weekend is Coming!
Last weekend was fun, playing with Paul Regge, and many thanks to Paul for taking the gig, ( The Mighty Fitz asked if I could find someone and take the gig, as everyone else was booked or out of town ) he is a fine player and we learned a lot of songs on the fly.
. Thanks too, those of you who came down to suppot us too, you can't know how much I apreciated it, that you were there. ( you know who you are ) The rest of the people were, well, pretty , well DRUNK is a good word, happens that way sometimes and makes for a difficult gig. All part of the job.....The fact that there were really fine moments makes up for it. Again, you know who you are. You are as much a part of the evening as we are, and we could not have done it without you.
Doesn't happen very often at Charlie's, that we get out numbered.. That place is special. Most nights are all about US having a great time, playing music, trading quips and just realaxing in our living room. With bartenders. It is still my favourate place to play, tho they are all special in thier own way.
I can't wait for this weekend , when I get my own Paul back ( I mean that in a Band type way, NO dating yr bandmate, ever, trouble will come of it! ) We are going to be on Fire and there is going to be some serious fun!!!!!
So do, please, come down, tell us about Irish Fair, or your Storm Stories, and what you have been up to. Have some dinner, a pint and a whole lot of fun.
And we will do the same.

Charlie's sounds like a really special place. I'm happy that you've found it.
And when will you be coming to visit????? Yes, yes, I know you have kids and a new baby, but shouldn't you and yr wife get away for a bit sometime????
On Fire ?
One of our quaint Americian sayings...It means we are going to Rock.
Getting away for a bit sounds awfully nice. And I have such webcam-related plans for you and Charlie's. ^_^
Work is sending me away this week, actually, straight into the path of Hurricane Dennis. WTF.
I'm keeping my eyes peeled for events/conferences in Minneapolis and surrounding parts that work might like to send me to; it's the easiest way to get time off, I've found. Try to take a vacation and they whine.

Webcam would be some fun!!!!
Last night was SO much fun, the Possee came down after a day of boating and we had visiters from Japan, and a party to send off a women from Chine and one very loyal couple who stayed till the end and made an entire audience on thier own!
We feel so loved!
It was truly a party in the living room , as we like to call it!
