Almost the Weekend!
Hello Friends!
Tomorrow is almost here, FRIDAY! And you may well be done with your work week, but Paul and I are ready to go! It's Charlie's this Friday and Saturday from 7:30 to 11:30. And just in case you think Paul and I sit around eating Bon Bons ( What ARE Bon Bons anyway ?? ) all week, we are really ready for some fun too, it's been a long one. We are actually doing a wedding at Charlie's as well, Saturday afternoon, which I call a handy little coincidence , location-wise.
Sunday, both Paul and I are heading out to Renn Fest ( without my dog, bad idea that was last weekend, didn't play a note! ) Look for us at the Bedlam Shows. Or just look for us, who can say what will happen, but if you see us, please come up and say Hi!

Yay for weekends. Wish I could be there. ^_^
Re: Friday night. Some people do not mess around when they get married! This wedding is one of them. They are all staying in the hotel, or as many of them as can , are. And of course, the night before the wedding, the thing to do is ALL go on a cruise then head down to the pub.
First off, tho, Katee and Her Husband to be are absolutly delightful! In fact, the whole group of them are wonderful, we felt so loved, and had such a great time. No complaints here!
They sure really don't mess around when they decide to party tho. ( they could not understand why Paul and I were not going to meet them for Bloody Mary's this morning, or why we weren't coming until 4 Saturday. )
Tonight we play our regular evening show and before that the Cocktail Hour from 4-6, which I , when planning this with Katee some weeks ago, thought, a sedate little affair, where Paul and I sat, sans sound system, and played nice backgound music ....NOT! Paul and decided about halfway thru last night, we will NEED the PA, after talking to the guests and happy couple .
( well, Katee, her Husband to be wasn't doing much talking, SUSPECT he may have had a , uh, couple drinks, but never ever have I seen a happier smile on anyones face, he could not stop grinning , and it made my heart so happy to see a person that completely filled with joy )
The whole group was like that tho, so filled with such joy. I like these people. THIS is what a wedding should be, all the people you love best in the world being together. ( with, I might add, great music , hee-hee )
I am happy to be a part of this tonight.
